This Privacy Policy explains how zRep ("zRep", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the zRep mobile app and related services.

Summary

zRep is a strength-training app. We use your information to provide the app, keep your account signed in, sync supported data, show workout history and progress, provide optional Apple Health features, support achievements and notifications, and respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in the app. We do not ask you to send passwords to support.

Information We Collect Or Process

Account information

Depending on how you use zRep, we may process:

  • Account identifier.
  • Email address.
  • Display name.
  • Authentication provider information, such as Sign in with Apple, email/password, or guest/anonymous account status.
  • Account events such as sign-in, sign-out, sign-up, and account deletion events.

Authentication may combine Sign in with Apple with secure hosted sign-in when you choose email/password. Password verification is handled by ordinary sign-in infrastructure; support should never ask you for your password by email or chat.

Profile information

If you add it, zRep may process profile information such as display name, email address, age value, workout level, profile photo, partner code, and partner-related account information.

Workout and fitness log information

zRep stores the training information you create or generate in the app, including workout sessions, exercises, sets, reps, weight, duration, set type, incline, rest time, RPE, notes, templates, personal records, progress charts, training volume, achievement progress, body measurements, and nutrition targets or planning information.

Apple Health information

If you grant permission, zRep may read supported Apple Health data, including heart rate, blood oxygen, active energy, basal energy, step count, and walking/running distance. zRep uses this data to show session summaries, profile activity, widgets, and related fitness context.

If you grant permission, zRep may write finished strength-training workouts to Apple Health.

Notifications, catalog, and technical information

zRep may use local notifications for rest timers, session reminders, achievement unlocks, and achievement nudges. zRep also includes a built-in exercise catalog and, when enabled, may download optional catalog listings, filters, descriptions, images, or brief animations over the internet to enrich exercise pages.

zRep may process limited technical information needed to operate the app, such as app version, device-local settings, language, units, theme, notification settings, cache files, and local identifiers used to keep your data scoped to your account.

How We Use Information

  • Provide account sign-in and account restoration.
  • Save, sync, and display your workouts, templates, exercises, measurements, nutrition information, achievements, settings, and profile.
  • Calculate statistics, personal records, progress, and achievements.
  • Provide optional Apple Health features when authorized.
  • Send local notifications you enable.
  • Provide export and share features you initiate.
  • Maintain app security, troubleshoot issues, and respond to support requests.
  • Comply with legal, security, and operational obligations.

Where Information Is Stored

  • On your device, using ordinary app databases, preferences, credential storage where needed for sign-in, local files, and shared storage widgets may use.
  • With hosted infrastructure zRep depends on for sign-in, database storage, file storage for photos and thumbnails, and account sync when you are signed in.
  • In Apple Health, only when you authorize zRep to write workouts or when Apple Health already contains data that you authorize zRep to read.

Some data stays only on one device—such as drafts, caches, or work in progress until you sync. Other data travels with your account when you’re signed in. Profile photos and custom exercise thumbnails may be hosted as files and linked by HTTPS URLs so the app can load them reliably on multiple devices.

Third-Party Services And Data Sharing

zRep relies on Apple services and ordinary cloud infrastructure—including optional hosted exercise-catalog partners—to operate everyday features. Each provider treats information according to its own transparency and contractual commitments.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information with third-party advertising networks. We may share or process information with service providers as necessary to operate zRep, comply with law, protect rights and security, investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer.

When you use export, share, or system share-sheet features, you choose where the exported or shared content goes.

Data Retention

We keep account and app data for as long as needed to provide zRep, maintain your account, comply with legal or operational requirements, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements.

Local data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, sign out or delete account where supported, delete the app, or erase the device. Synced copies on hosted systems are removed when you complete account deletion or when operational retention windows end.

Account Deletion And Data Requests

Where available, you can use the in-app account deletion option. Account deletion signs you out, removes supported local user data, and requests deletion or deactivation of supported remote user data associated with your account.

Apple Health data is controlled by Apple Health. You can review and delete Apple Health records through the Health app or iOS settings where Apple provides those controls.

Your Choices

  • Choose Sign in with Apple, email/password, or guest mode where available.
  • Update supported profile and app settings in zRep.
  • Enable or disable notification categories in zRep and iOS Settings.
  • Grant, deny, or revoke Apple Health permissions in iOS Settings.
  • Export supported sessions and measurements from the app.
  • Delete your account where the app provides that option, or contact support for help.
  • Delete the app to remove local app data from the device.

Children

zRep is not directed to children under 13 or to anyone below the minimum age required to use the app in their region. Do not use zRep if you are not old enough to consent to this policy or do not have any required parent or guardian permission.

International Processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including where our service providers operate.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device, Apple ID, email account, and zRep account credentials secure.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, services, legal requirements, or our practices change.
