1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and KZ - Minds, Alexandria, Egypt (the developer of zRep; "zRep", "we", "us") governing your use of the zRep app and related features. By downloading, accessing, or using zRep, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if higher, and able to form a binding contract. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may use zRep only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using zRep you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. The Service
zRep is software for planning, logging, and reviewing strength-training workouts on supported Apple devices. Features may include workout logging, templates and folders, an exercise library and custom exercises, history, personal records and progress charts, profile statistics, body measurements, nutrition planning, badges, Partner Up, optional Apple Health integration, notifications, exports, and account sync. Features differ between the free tier and zRep Pro, may depend on signing in, and may change, be added, or be removed between versions.
4. Health, Fitness, And Assumption Of Risk
zRep is provided for informational, fitness-logging, and planning purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a qualified physician, trainer, dietitian, or other health professional. Strength training and dietary changes carry inherent risks of injury or harm. Consult a qualified professional before beginning, changing, or relying on any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication. You use zRep, and undertake any training or nutrition activity, at your own risk and are solely responsible for your decisions and conduct. Stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or other symptoms.
5. Accounts
You may use zRep as a guest or by signing in with Sign in with Apple or email and password where available. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and log, for keeping your device, Apple ID, email account, and zRep credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Support staff will never ask for your password. If you use guest mode, you may permanently lose access to that guest identity and its unsynced data if you delete the app, sign out, or lose the device before linking or signing in with a full account.
6. zRep Pro Subscriptions And Purchases
zRep offers a free tier and an optional premium tier, "zRep Pro", which unlocks additional features. zRep Pro is offered as auto-renewable subscriptions (for example, monthly and annual) and may also be offered as a one-time, non-renewing "Lifetime" purchase. The exact products, features, durations, and prices are shown on the in-app purchase screen and in the App Store and may vary by region and over time.
All purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account, not by us directly. The following apply to auto-renewable subscriptions:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- A subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your App Store account settings after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds and billing are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions; we generally cannot grant refunds directly. The "Lifetime" purchase is a one-time purchase that grants access for as long as zRep offers the entitlement on the platform; it is not a perpetual guarantee that the app, service, or any specific feature will remain available. You may restore eligible purchases on devices signed in to the same Apple ID. We may change the price, composition, or availability of free and paid features, subject to applicable platform rules and notice requirements; changes do not apply retroactively to a subscription period already paid for.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create in zRep, such as workout logs, notes, custom exercises and their images, templates, measurements, nutrition information, and profile details ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and sync Your Content solely to operate and provide the app and its features to you and, where you choose, to a linked partner. You represent that you have the rights to Your Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.
8. Partner Up And Social Features
If you use Partner Up, linking with another user shares certain workout-related information, such as selected records or shared templates, with that partner, and may send notifications. You are responsible for whom you link with and what you choose to share, and you agree to use these features respectfully and lawfully. You may manage or remove partner links in the app.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: misuse or interfere with the app or its infrastructure; attempt to access, scrape, or disrupt accounts, data, or systems that are not yours; reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent security or entitlement controls except where such restriction is prohibited by law; upload or transmit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; or use zRep in violation of any law or third-party right.
10. Apple Health
Apple Health integration is optional and controlled by you in iOS Settings. If you grant permission, zRep may read supported Health data and may write finished workouts to Apple Health, as described in the Privacy Policy. Health data is governed by Apple's frameworks and your device permissions.
11. Sync, Exports, And Third-Party Services
Sync depends on network availability and on hosted services we use, and may not always resolve conflicts exactly as you expect when data changes on multiple devices. Exports and share-sheet destinations are controlled by you and by the apps or services you select. zRep relies on third-party providers for authentication, hosting and sync, optional online exercise-catalog content, crash reporting, and analytics, each subject to its own terms and to our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
12. Intellectual Property
zRep, including its software, design, text, the built-in exercise catalog, badges, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Usage Rules. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
13. Privacy
Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
14. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA WILL ALWAYS BE PRESERVED OR SYNCED.
15. Limitation Of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM YOUR TRAINING OR NUTRITION DECISIONS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (OR THROUGH THE APP STORE FOR ZREP) IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $50, UNLESS APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
17. Termination
You may stop using zRep at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, or change or discontinue the app or features, in accordance with platform rules, including for violation of these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as required by law or Apple's policies. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country provide otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have as a consumer.
19. Apple App Store - Additional Terms
These Terms are between you and us only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for zRep or its content. The license granted to you is a non-transferable license to use zRep on any Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for zRep. In the event of any failure of zRep to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any) to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to zRep. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to zRep, including product liability, failure to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, and intellectual-property claims. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce these Terms against you.
